The Sales Engineer will play a vital role in demonstrating our client s advanced software to prospective clients, providing technical guidance to Account Executives and Customer Success Managers, and staying updated on solar design and renewable energy trends. Key responsibilities include identifying customer priorities, collaborating with the sales team to navigate the sales process, assisting in preparing and delivering technical presentations, and addressing customer questions and concerns. The Sales Engineer will also provide feedback to the Product team, collaborate with Marketing to create technical content, and ensure a smooth transition from early technical support to Customer Success.
Key Requirements:
- A bachelor of science in engineering, renewable energy, or a closely related field.
- Extensive technical knowledge and practical experience in solar engineering solutions.
- Hands-on experience in the initial stages of solar design, with a focus on creating efficient and innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for events and customer visits.
Salary Range: $100-125k bonus
