Description
This is a full-time 3rd shift position, non-exempt position that reports to the Plant Manager.
Essential Duties
- Direct the work force performance through proper administration of the Company policies. Discipline directly where necessary to maintain control of operations.
- Assist in control and regulation of packaging operations by maintaining standard operating procedures, making prescribed changes and adjustments when necessary, and maintaining daily productions rates, yield, quality, and line efficiencies.
- Administer safety / health programs to meet current OSHA and Mrs. Clark's Requirements
- Obtain and maintain line efficiencies through the supervision and administration of company established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Train building personnel in proper operation techniques.
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Managers / Director of Operations
Requirements
Minimum Experience
Total Yrs. of Experience : Three years supervisory or process improvement experience in food manufacturing or related industry.
Hours : Monday-Friday 8pm-6am
Equipment / Software Skills
Must be PC literate with working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word

Titles of direct reports : Line Operators, Mixers, General Labor
Directly supervises 15-35 employees
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Physical : Must have ability to sit and walk for extended periods of time on a daily basis.
Sensory : Must utilize all senses as normal.
Mental / Reasoning : Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to accommodate a quick paced environment (a quick thinker)
