MSA has an opportunity for a Public Works Project Manager at our  Baraboo, WI office. You will have the opportunity to see, and contribute in, projects from start to finish. The various projects you'll be working on make a significant and positive impact on the communities you serve.

Responsibilities

The work you will do

  • Client relations including attendance at client meetings and interaction with existing and new clients
  • Project management including project planning, scoping, budgeting and QA/QC
  • Design of public works infrastructure projects
  • Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff
  • Preparation of plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents
  • Preparation of technical reports and regulatory permits for projects
  • Administration of construction on public works infrastructure projects

Qualifications

What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
  • 10 years of prior experience within the Public Works market serving multiple clients required
  • PE license required, WI PE preferred. Capability to obtain WI PE license will be considered
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and client needs required
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations and requirements within Wisconsin preferred
  • Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred
  • A desire to learn more about public works engineering and consulting
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
