MSA has an opportunity for an Senior Electrical Project Manager at any of our following Wisconsin offices: Madison, Milwaukee, Appleton, or Kiel. Responsibilities
The work you will do
- Project management and Client/Owner interaction
- Electrical Engineering for the built environment: schools, higher education, commercial, municipal buildings; AKA Architectural Engineering
- Design of building power distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems
- Design of low voltage electrical systems to include Fire alarm, CCTV, Keyless entry, security, sound systems and Media delivery systems
- Drawing development using Revit and assigning Revit modeling to others
- Perform code reviews
- Shop drawing and submittal review and processing
- Assist with mentoring junior technicians and engineers
Qualifications
What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
- 10 years minimum of prior electrical engineering experience required
- Professional Engineer license required (WI preferred)
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD required
- Prior project management experience required
- Experience with architectural projects such as schools, health care facilities and commercial buildings preferred
- Prior experience coordinating a project from start to finish with both contractors and clients preferred
- Excellent planning and organizational skills required for fast-paced and multi-tasking environment with the ability to coordinate this information across disciplines
- This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
