Axiota’s non-antibiotic solutions prepare cattle to thrive during transition and stress and support producers’ goals of optimal health, performance, and animal well-being.
Axiota’s field-based sales and technical teams support beef and dairy producers and their technical advisors. Our current cattle product platform includes Multimin® 90, an injectable trace mineral used for strategic supplementation of cattle, and Lactipro®, a rumen native probiotic that promotes healthy rumen function and stabilizes pH. Axiota plans to expand both platforms to additional species and applications in the future.
Sales Operations Analyst Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining Axiota single source of truth sales data set and managing weekly sales performance and pipeline reporting.
- Develops ad hoc and regular monthly summary reports and insights for key sales personnel and the broader organization.
- Assists sales teams & leadership with the identification and communication of sales insights through ad hoc analytical activities, root cause problem-solving, and risk mitigation.
- Accountable for maintaining and augmenting sales reporting tools (Power BI, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Excel) and dashboards
- Develops applications and processes to enable quick data pulls by management and sales team.
- Stays up-to-date on market and customer trends related to the business.
- Participates in regular sales reviews, as well as Sales Ops meetings.
Annually
- Analyses & insights for sales leadership to inform strategic planning – including segment, territory, and account plans (e.g., performance by customer segments, quota attainment, expected growth levers)
- Supporting analyses for quota and compensation planning in partnership with Finance and leadership
Quarterly
- Supporting analyses for Quarterly Business Reviews and other sales cadences, including refreshes on annual strategies and plans (e.g., sales performance, channel and customer insights, CRM account analytics)
- Update inputs from sales reps in the field (e.g., changes to customer-level intel)
Weekly
- Weekly updates to Power BI dashboard, including regular data source updates & data quality control.
Daily
- Daily Lactipro sales updates prepared and emailed to sales teams.
Periodically
- Data pulls / reports on existing customers or pipelines (e.g., needs, concentration, distribution, size, opportunity)
- Supporting analyses for strategic discussions (e.g., Board meetings) and occasional tailored asks for leadership
- Ongoing maintenance of dashboards & Salesforce CRM system, including account mapping updates as requested by sales directors and Sales Ops
- New Power BI visualization builds, as per stakeholder requirements, some of which will require advanced Power BI technical expertise.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of experience (sales analytics)
- Experience working in sales, finance, or marketing analytics functions preferred.
- Required technical skills: Fluency in Power BI; basic knowledge of Power Query; intermediate Microsoft Excel
- Preferred technical skills: Experience using Salesforce CRM; experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Strong problem-solving skills, data modelling, and data quality management experience
- Strong communication skills, including experience preparing & leading briefings for leadership audiences.
- Ability to develop and manage sales reporting, analytical support, and presentation development.
- Must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and capable of producing high-quality results on a consistent basis.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Possibility for part-time remote
- Ability to travel occasionally, with overnight stays (10% travel)
