IT Consulant/ Account Manager
Summary
This role is designed for someone with at least 3-5 years experience. You will need to have experience in Active Directory, Server 2012/2016/2019, VEEAM, Office 365, Cisco, group policy, Fortigate/Fortinet, SCCM and VMWARE. You will be onsite as needed at a client and work from home the rest of the week. This role will be work at your own pace as long as things get done and clients expectations are met. You will be responsible for a subset of clients and be responsible to make sure all tickets and issues are completed in a timely manner and all SLA's are met. You will be responsible for going onsite whenever it requires. Also requirement to checkin to the client sites monthly to make sure clients are satisfied with our customer service
MSD is looking to hire someone between $3,000-$4,000 per month to fill this role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the stability and performance of client computing applications, server and storage platforms, and voice and data networks
- Serve as point of contact for computer-related incidents and requests initiated by users
Work closely with user community to clearly understand computer-related incidents and requests and develop and implement quick, effective solutions
- Combination of both on-site and remote support required for rapid response to incidents and requests initiated by user community
- Conduct follow-up communication with users to ensure user satisfaction with response and remediation to incidents and requests
- Installation, maintenance, and support of client computing (Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smart-Phone) platforms and peripherals
- Installation, maintenance, and support of physical and virtual server hardware, operating systems, and related data storage platforms
- Maintenance and support of on-premise Microsoft Exchange Email platform
- Installation, maintenance and ongoing support of Ethernet network-related switch gear
(Cisco and Aruba HP)
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly data backups to ensure successful completion and secure storage
- Ensure quick effective response to requests for data retrieval from backup environment
- Develop computer-related training manuals for user community
- Provide computer-related training to user community
- Effective use of diagnostic tools for quick resolution of computer-related incidents
- Work effectively with external service providers for quick, effective resolution of service-related issues
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in a computer science
- Bachelor degree in a computer related field preferred
Requirements
- Candidate must maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate a high level of customer service and support
- Candidate must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug testing
