SUMMARY
Data Analyst will ensure information systems function at high levels for the business by providing reporting, access to accurate and actionable data, interconnect systems, perform ad hoc analysis and ensure data is correct in our systems by automating manual processes. The role requires strong operations, materials, quality and business collaboration skills to drive excellence in a changing and dynamic environment. This role combines a deep knowledge of modern data analytics tooling, MSI Express business, manufacturing, master data management and will require interfacing with the operations, master data and analytics teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Corporate level improvements of operation systems through implementing and enforcing standards, analyzing existing data, evaluating compliance and performance, identifying anomalies and risks, and developing solutions to drive business efficiency and streamline operations.
- Work with plant operations, warehousing, and finance to improve overall efficiency and reduce cost by training users on standard and most efficient way to use the operational systems. Create exception reports as necessary.
- Understand the operational system and its relation to MSI business process, perform configuration of the systems and consistently improve functionality and use by the facilities. This may, at times, require systematically updating data in the system in coordination with other departments to ensure systems match.
- Perform business intelligence reporting, SQL reporting and/or python analysis to ensure our business users are more efficient in their use of our systems, can reduce cost and drive higher levels of output and productivity.
- Act, when necessary, as a subject matter expert in technical guidance, solution design and best practices to local resources regarding item management, job management, reconciliations, shipping and receiving, inventory adjustments, estimates / scenarios, receive, work and ship order management, quality management and labor management in the operational solution

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years of operational experience in high volume manufacturing and/or supply chain operations
- Strong business acumen, critical thinking, project management, technical abilities and problem solving skills
- Expert use of python, SQL, Tableau/PowerBI, Excel, ETL tools and APIs.
- College degree preferred; high school diploma required; Data analyst masters or certificate program highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success working with stakeholders and implementing end-to-end operational solutions to solve complex business requirements.
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and ensure adherence to corporate handbook
