Job Details
SUMMARY
Prepare parts such as picking, sorting, stacking, wrapping and packing so they are free from any burrs and/or debris. Measure to length, assemble, glue and inspect parts to produce acceptable product according to Muellers process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Accept materials for each assigned job, review and evaluate prior to beginning.
Reads job specifications (job traveler) to determine machine adjustments, material requirements, picking and/or packing instructions and to fully understand process prior to beginning each operation. Fills out sequence at every operation completed.
Bond materials together using special adhesives.
Bore holes for final assembly.
Position parts in specified opening and screws or bolts them in place.
Measure to length.
Mark or stamp parts according to job.
Inspect parts and assure that counts are accurate.
Completes first piece and last piece comparisons throughout the process.
Follow-up with team lead to verify any questions if necessary.
Perform operation to acceptable quality standards and transports finished work pieces.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Accurately complete all documentation as required to complete each job.
Performs housekeeping duties around work center to avoid slips, trips, and falls.
