Electrical Engineering - Project Manager

Multilink Inc is located in the city of Elyria, OH (Lorain County) about 25 miles West of Cleveland and we are looking for an Electrical Engineering / Project Manager. Background must be in BSEE or Computer Science. Must know circuit board hardware, lay out electrical hardware or assembly "C" or Python programming with language & data communication protocols. Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience or knowledge or a combination of both. Must have a minimum of 5 years of managing experience in managing a team or staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and troubleshooting of electronic devices, circuitry, and wiring schematics for both Electrical and Mechanical Departments.
• Interpret electrical schematics and PCB fabrication files for troubleshooting and repair of new and existing products.
• Works in conjunction with Chief Technical Officer to design firmware for the required and optimized operation of microcontrollers, IC’s, and peripheral devices.
• Develop and maintain methods of data communication between products.
• Perform research and development for the enhancement or redesign of current and legacy products to increase functionality or to correct known issues.
• Maintain source code for all versions of firmware.
• Maintain the equipment calibration schedule for all Engineering and Production test equipment.
• Write technical documentations pertaining to the testing and user operation of production products.
• Provide technical support to Mechanical and Maintenance Team for wiring diagram, component selection, or equipment repair.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science preferred; minimum of 5 years’ experience or combination of direct experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Assembly, C, or Python programming language and data communication protocols.
• Experience with troubleshooting tools such as digital multi-meters, power analyzers, oscilloscopes, and programmable AC power sources.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ESD and safety skills when working with high voltage and open frame electronics.
• Excellent technical writing skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs. frequently.
• Use of computer and monitors for 1-8 hours.
• Ability to stand for 1-8 hours.
• Use of manual dexterity when handling hot soldering iron, SMD reflow tools, or hand tools.
• Ability to use microscope for ultra-fine pitch components.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
