Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis is hiring a personable and motivated Showroom Greeter/Delivery Specialist. This position is responsible for greeting customers as they enter the showroom, answering basic inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate party.
Other duties include:
- Obtaining and recording basic demographic information about each customer, using dealership sales control system.
- Answering basic customer inquiries. Referring more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Directing customers and guests to the correct department, notifying the appropriate salesperson that a customer is waiting, or introducing the customer to a salesperson.
- Supervising delivery preparation of all sold vehicles, ensuring cleanliness.
- Coordinating delivery of vehicles to customers, providing tour of dealership facilities, and introducing customer to appropriate dealership personnel including service manager or available service advisor.
- Explains features of vehicles to customers.
- Watching lot at all times.
- Helping maintain bistro.
- Entering delivery information in factory website.
- Helping walk-ins/service customers with technology as requested.
- Maintaining a professional appearance.
- Maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
The pay for this position is $15 hourly plus commission. The commission averages between $400-$800 per month.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
- This position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking as well as moving vehicles throughout the day.
- Courteous, effective, and professional communication with customers and staff is required.
