Municode’s Tallahassee office is looking for a West Coast Sales Account Executive to add to our team.  This position will meet with and build long-term business relationships with local government representatives such as city attorney’s, city clerks, city managers, and city IT directors. This is a heavily new sales with some customer service orientated role, familiarity with and local and regional governments and politics will be of great benefit.

What you will do:

1. Build Customer Relationships. Contact new prospective clients and arranging face-to-face meetings or webinars with local government officials;
2. Travel.  Attending association conferences each year to exhibit our products and to further develop your network of contacts, and travel throughout assigned regions;
3. Work as a Team. Coordinate with the Sales Account Manager Director as well as the Sales Executive Director to prepare proposals and client information packages;
4. Demoing: Being able to demo various products to key municipal contacts in person and via webinar.

What you will bring to the table:

2. Self-starter.  You will be inherently organized and motivated.  We will make sure you are set up for success, and you will be expected to proactively manage your own work. 
3. Experience.  At least 3-5 years of full-time sales experience.  Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
   • Minimum 3-5 years of full-time experience of Sales experience;
   • Strong prospecting and telephone skills;
   • Computer proficiency, CRM and Microsoft Office.

1. Nice to have:
   • 3-5 years of experience selling to governments.
   • Solution selling experience
   • Legal Sales background
