Job Summary
Are you project manager looking for a new challenge? Muraflex is looking for a PM to join its dynamic team! If you have management skills, ability to solve conflicts and recognize risks in the lifetime of a project , we would love to meet you!
As a Project Manager-DC, you will have the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of various exciting projects in Washington DC area!
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The Project Manager-DC must have strong problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills, including accountability and attention to details.
What you will be doing?
- Coordinating with cross discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
- Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
- Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
- Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period.
- Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Perform all other job-related tasks as requested for this position.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven work experience as a Project Manager, 5 years of experience.
- Strong experience in project management for big projects from conception to delivery
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Basecamp or Trello)
- BSc in Business Administration or related field
- PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
