About the Position: As our IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our day-to-day operations by managing our IT infrastructure and assisting our team with their technological needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide first-line technical support to employees via in-person, phone, video, email, or remote assistance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly
- Manage accounts for employees across platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft, Zoom, etc. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with security policies.
- Work with vendors and external service providers to resolve technical issues and procure IT-related products or services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on IT-related topics and technologies.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, legal, and administrative departments on IT-related projects and initiatives.
- Ordered and provided equipment for staff members and maintained an accurate inventory of all IT assets.
Set up and support office workstations and equipment, ensuring optimal hardware and software configuration
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical users.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- IT certifications (such as CompTIA A , Network , or Security ).
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft, Zoom, or similar office platforms.
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles.
