You will be responsible for collecting and preparing lab specimens, maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, and interacting with patients in a professional and compassionate manner. To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent as well as a phlebotomy certification from an accredited program.
Collect and prepare lab specimens in accordance with established protocols.
Follow safety protocols and standards to ensure patient safety at all times.
Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols.
Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and physicians.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient data.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laboratory equipment.
Monitor laboratory supplies and order replacements as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
