Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: 12-hour shifts rotating weekends

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their well-being as part of a larger medical team. Their duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient's medical history, and assisting patients with hygiene The Licensed Practical Nurse functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The work is performed in compliance with the established policies of the healthcare system and reflects the philosophy of the hospital, as well as the mission of the department of nursing.
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program with six months of patient care experience required.
Licenses/Certification: Current South Carolina Nursing License from the State Board of Nurse Examiners, and Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association required.
