The Musco Research and Development Team is currently seeking a Test Technician to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will focus on the setup, conducting, and record product testing/research for Musco Engineering. What you will do as a Test Technician:
- Conduct floodlight photometry using Musco’s Type A and Type C goniophotometers
- Conduct and monitor life testing using Musco’s fixture testing room
- Conduct lamp testing using Musco’s test cage and integrating sphere
- Setup and conduct testing at Musco’s test field
- Conduct other Musco testing requirements
- Maintain test equipment. Keep calibrations up to date
- Maintain testing labs. Includes white room, black rooms, fixture testing room, engineering lab, test cage, and test field
- Create, organize, and maintain testing documents
- Maintain engineering samples
- Assist in other R&D activities (building prototypes, testing)
What you need to be successful:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical degree preferred
- Basic test and measurement knowledge
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Basic lighting, photometry knowledge
- General computer knowledge
- Strong organization skills
- Strong communication skills

Salary : $60,200 - $76,200
