MWH Constructors' Construction Management Services (CMS) group is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Construction Inspector to conduct and document inspections related to the construction of water/wastewater related infrastructure projects in the Southern California.

Essential Functions
- Represent the project owner in the field, provide single-point field inspection of Contractor’s work.
- On a daily basis, monitor and record contractor's methods, procedures, and processes for compliance with the contract and prepare a comprehensive Daily Inspection Report with measurement of daily installed quantities and resources utilized.
- Inspect the work for completeness and conformance with the plans, specifications, and applicable regulations and ordinances.
- Assist the construction manager with the development of as-built drawings.
- Document compliance and non-compliance of completed work with established quality control and quality assurance processes and procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent education.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of inspection experience in the construction of water infrastructure projects.
- ICC/ICBO Certifications in Reinforced Concrete, Welding, Masonry Inspection are very desirable.
- Thorough understanding of construction safety, quality control, and general contract management requirements necessary.
- Confined Space Certification
- Equivalent combination of related experience and technical training may be substituted.
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
