Job Description:
The Safety Technician may be responsible for the daily administration and implementation of the Client's Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements that promote a safe and healthful working environment. May be capable of performing assignments of moderate complexity following the direction of an assigned Client supervisor. Solid chemical safety and hazardous waste experience on top of the solid EHS expectations
Managing recordkeeping systems for Air Permit, Wastewater, Hazardous waste storage
Conducting training in all OSH topics
Conducting walk-through inspections and audits for Safety & Environment Programs (included Haz Waste, Universal waste, SPCC, Storm Water, Waste water)
Recognizing hazards
Participating in accident investigation and/or emergency response
Addressing employee OSH concerns
Implementing OSH measures, programs, and procedures
Maintaining Metrics and KPIs
Issuing hot work and confined space permits
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
Thorough knowledge of safety & Environment and applicable regulatory compliance laws
Industrial hygiene (IH)
Engineering principles
Machine guarding and lockout/tagout electrical safety
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of Industrial Permits (Air, Wastewater, Haz waste)
Training
Computer skills
Exhibits positivity, passion, integrity, and responsibility
Work Experience, Education:
? to 10 years of relevant work experience in OSH & Environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday

Experience:
- EHS: 4 years (Preferred)
- Wastewater: 3 years (Required)
- Hazmat: 3 years (Required)
