Position Overview: My Place for Peace Counseling Services is seeking several Senior Clinicians who would like to diversify their work beyond 1:1 client session. Senior Clinicians are responsible for supervising and developing two-four provisionally licensed staff and interns of My Place for Peace while continuing to maintain a client caseload. The Senior Clinician will provide weekly clinical supervision or consultation as needed to provisionally licensed clinicians and interns, support clinicians in professional and clinical development, and promote a positive work culture at their location. The Senior Clinician must have a positive and supportive approach towards My Place for Peace, its employees and clients. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
Salary Range: $ 60,000- 70,000/year with a mix of client sessions and supervisory hours

Reports to: Katie Bergacs, Owner of My Place for Peace
Senior Clinician Duties/Responsibilities (up to 12-15 hours/month):
- Supervise and oversee clinical services of two-four provisionally clinicians and interns at any one time at a designated office location.
- Communicate and work closely with the Director of Operations when new provisionally licensed clinicians and interns start and throughout the new hire introductory period.
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures of My Place for Peace as a Senior Clinician; convey related information to provisionally licensed clinicians and interns.
- Be proactive and responsible in training and holding provisionally licensed clinicians and interns accountable in note content and timeliness, and overall performance of their clinical job duties via weekly clinical supervision meetings.
- Review and cosign all clinical notes for two-four provisionally licensed staff and interns.
- Attend meetings with the Director to discuss and collaborate related to processes and/or procedures, clinical issues, and successes.
- Provide formal 1 hour weekly supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians and interns.
- Engage in anti-racism and anti-oppression work; convey these concepts to provisionally licensed clinicians.
- Other Senior Clinician/related duties as may be assigned.
Clinical Therapist Duties/Responsibilities (remaining hours/month):
- Perform on-site clinical counseling services to patients of My Place for Peace, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for My Place for Peace.
- Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
- Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by My Place for Peace or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
- Charge and collect payments from patients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by My Place for Peace.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by My Place for Peace.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of My Place for Peace. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
- Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.
- When not providing supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians, be available to hold at least 15 patient sessions per week with 20 open spots provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by My Place for Peace.
- Be available two evenings per week or one evening and one early morning per week. Evening identified as working until 7 pm.
- Engage in weekly supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Align with My Place for Peace’ mission, vision, and values.
- Clinical supervision certificate, LCSW, LPC 3 years post licensure
- Knowledge of the roles and duties of My Place for Peace leadership and clinical positions and functions.
- Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.

- Must be punctual in reporting to work.
