Northland Management Group is seeking a smart, savvy, and personable leader for our Member Relationship Manager position, overseeing multiple locations of MY SALON Suite. MY SALON Suite is a premier franchise in the beauty industry, offering luxury, fully-furnished suites to beauty professionals such as hairstylists, estheticians, and other specialists. Our Members are these independent beauty professionals who lease out suites to run their own businesses. As the Member
Relationship Manager, your primary role will be to support these entrepreneurs by fostering a positive environment and ensuring their success. Your key responsibilities will include social media marketing to attract local stylists, conducting tours of available suites, signing lease agreements with new Members, managing Member relations, and handling various operational tasks to provide the best possible experience for our Members. Your enthusiasm, leadership, and business skills will be critical in operating one of the most successful MY SALON Suite franchises in the country.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Member Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing all facets of the property to achieve the financial objectives of the owner. Your responsibilities will include:
Marketing/Leasing
- Receive lead requests and communicate promptly and effectively
- Follow the Franchise standard operating procedure for tours, follow-up, and leasing touch points
- Facilitate the 5-3-1 social media marketing strategy
- Stay current and report on market trends to make effective strategy and pricing recommendations to the ownership team
- Confirm that leasing staff techniques are effective in closing
- Ensure properties are leased to budgeted occupancy
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with stylists
Administrative
- Confirm all leases and corresponding paperwork are completed and input into software system accurately and on a timely basis
- Ensure current Member and lead files are properly maintained
- Ensure all administrative paperwork is accurate, complete and submitted on a timely basis
Member Relations
- Resolve Member concerns and requests on timely basis to ensure Member satisfaction with management
- Distribute Member celebration gifts/signs weekly
- Develop and/or implement Member retention programs (i.e., Member functions, special promotions, monthly newsletters, etc.)
- Ensure distribution of all company or property-issued notices (i.e., bad weather, emergency, etc.)
- Consistently implement policies of the properties
- Comply with all Federal and Local regulations and ordinances
Maintenance
- Maintain property appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on timely basis. This requires regular property inspections and tours
- Assure quality and quantity of market ready suites
- Ensure that market ready suites are walked weekly and communicate any service-related needs to maintenance.
Safety
- Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules
- Ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner
- Report all liability and property incidents to the property manager immediately. Ensure that all workers’ compensation claims are reported, and proper paperwork is completed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1-3 years of work experience, leasing manager or beauty industry preferred
- Ability to make decisions and act independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects and excel under tight deadlines
- Computer knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
- Proficiency in Instagram, with the ability to utilize the platform effectively for marketing and engagement
- Previous experience in property management software
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with Members, team and vendors
- Available to work evenings and weekends when needed
- Previous lease up experience is preferred
- High school diploma required
- Reside in or near the central or north/northeastern metro area of the Twin Cities
The position is centered around an on-site presence at multiple locations, but there is room for occasional remote work.

COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with experience. Competitive salary plus incentive bonuses based on leasing success.
