Role Summary:
Join our multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care. As a Psychologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a range of mental health conditions across various age groups. This role involves collaboration, resource management, and adherence to high standards of practice.
Key Duties:
Team Collaboration: Work within a diverse team to deliver integrated care.
Patient Care: Assess and diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in clients of all ages.
Resource Management: Utilize tools such as electronic health records and coordinate with medical staff to meet service targets.
Treatment Planning: Select appropriate treatment methods and provide therapy to individuals, families, or couples.
Crisis Support: Assist individuals with immediate personal issues arising from crises like relationship breakups, loss, or trauma.
Policy Development: Support the Medical Director in creating and updating medical policies and guidelines.
Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate completion of health records, communication logs, and billing requirements.
Skills:
Proficiency in diagnostic assessment and treatment planning.
Strong communication, analytical, and observational skills.
Ability to maintain detailed and accurate client records.
People-oriented with a compassionate approach to care.
Education & Training:
Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).
Continuing education as required by practice and board standards.
Board certification or eligibility.
Experience:
1-2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical psychology.
Position:
Part-time (3 days per week initially, with potential for increased hours).
