In this role you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end. Responsibilities include collection of business requirements from customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing the production launch. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams, external teams and partners to develop optimal solutions for new features.
The right candidate will possess a strong technical and program management background, will have successfully managed multi-discipline, highly technical project initiatives, and will have a well-rounded technical background in software development and networking. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Key job responsibilities
- Manage cross-team and cross-organization delivery of long-term customer-facing programs
- Work with the product management and engineering team to identify technical requirements, limitations, and bottlenecks
- Create the strategy for, and manage, customer facing feedback programs
- Meet with internal and external customers to understand future requirements
- Build, integrate, and maintain reporting for areas of responsibility within existing reporting schemes and mechanisms. Where required, implement new reporting.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs Plan and coordinate events including facilitation and action item management.
- Implement or enable virtuous continuous improvement cycles in macro team processes.
- Develop, Own, and report on: program goals, performance, efficacy and efficiency to a variety of stakeholders across different technical domains and at varying cadences (weekly / monthly / quarterly) for area of responsibility.
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
