We are hiring substitutes in Jacksonville North Pulaski School District for the 2024-2025 school year. No previous experience is required!

Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher. Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher’s aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.

Minimum Requirements :

• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Arkansas Division of Elementary & Secondary Education background clearance

Substitute Pay Rates :

• Teacher, including Early Childhood Education and Special Education : $95 - $115 per day
• Librarian : $95 - $115 per day
• Paraprofessional, including Early Childhood Education and Special Education : $11 per hour
• Clerical : $11 per hour
• School Nurse - Registered Nurse : $30 per hour
• School Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse : $20 per hour

Responsibilities and Job Description(s) :

• Assume duties of the district employee in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
• For long-term teacher assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
