Myrtle's Bakehouse has been growing rapidly over the last year! Were a fun and happy company to work for and we have a need for a Special Event assistant.
This candidate would be responsible for the set up, service and break down of pop-up tent events and weekly farmers markets. You would represent our company in a professional manner to increase our profitability and create an amazing customer experience at these events..
Responsibilities
- Deliver to events using company vehicle
- Set up tent, marketing materials, sales tables and cookie display
- Sell and serve cookies to customers, fielding questions and generally providing a wonderful consumer experience
- Cash and card handling using mobile POS system
- Inform customers about new products and services
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards while in transit to and from events
- Speedy breakdown of event equipment
- Strict observance of all event holder rules and regulations
Skill
- Valid professional driver’s license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree
- Cash handling experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
