This is a seasonal position ranging from June to late summer. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing gardens and landscaping features at the Museum
Essential Functions
- Provide working, hands-on gardening/landscaping for historical gardens, other gardens, landscaping, and grounds
- Oversee greenhouse and ancillary landscape/gardening operations
- Assist with managing gardening volunteers
- Assist with event set-up and teardown with event coordinator
- Promote gardening/landscaping at Museum and with general public
- Assist grounds crew with snow removal, sidewalk salting, mowing grass, etc.
- Perform other tasks as required
- The ability to work in all weather conditions.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work well with a team.
