What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lobby Houseman position at MySuites?
The Houseman/Lobby Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas. Assists Room Attendants in order to maintain high standards of quality& cleanliness.
Required Skills and Requisites:
- Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Excellent communication skills.
Ability to convey information and ideas
- Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to use chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assists Housekeepers as required
- Delivering requested items to guest rooms
- Reports any damage or missing items and submit maintenance requests
- Sets up, attends, and cleans up after resident functions (food, tables, kitchen areas ..)
- Houseman duties including trash, mopping, vacuuming
- Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed, such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry or housekeeping as needed sweeping/mopping common guest areas, keeping stairwells clean, and shampooing carpets and hallways when needed
- Provide support to guests and the front desk
- Maintain cleanliness of the hotel parking lot, hotel public areas, restrooms, meeting rooms
- Assist in other departments/areas of the hotel (breakfast, laundry, maintenance, housekeeping, ) as needed
- Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops or restocks hotel areas such as hallways, stairways, laundry rooms, common areas, restrooms, public or other similar areas
- Power washing patios and decks
- Maintaining the outside of the hotel to keep free of trash and debris
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

- Lawton, OK 73501: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
- Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Shift availability:

- Night Shift (Preferred)
