Put your creative mind to work as you learn the ins and outs of the production process. Here you will work alongside our award-winning team of Directors, Producers, Editors, and Animators assisting them in producing high-quality products for our clients. You’ll exercise your multitasking skills as you assist in developing ideas, filming content, editing takes, and/or carrying deliverables through the review and finishing process; as well as supporting our team through the many intricacies of production. From creative reviews to hard drive runs, you’ll see why every step and every role is crucial in creating successful and compelling content.
We are looking for interns interested in assisting any facet of on-set production and post production editing and finishing. Job Responsibilities
- Assist production staff in all areas of production, including conceptualizing ideas and executions, supporting on-set production, logging footage, taking notes, editing, communicating within our team and with other departments, and generally assisting in keeping production timelines flowing smoothly.
- Learn high-in-demand technical skills such as videography, animation (2D/3D), coloring footage, sound mixing, working in Unreal Engine, producing and coordinating.
- Assist on-set production with tasks like setting up lighting, camera, and sound, packing gear, keeping production documents organized, running food orders, and communicating with the post-production teams for hand-off.
- Log and load footage into Adobe Premiere Pro, and export color and mix preps for our editors to help speed editing timelines.
- Build and animate designs for animated videos and gifs.
- Assist in media management and project documentation and organization.
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors about assets, schedules, color and audio notes, VFX and more.
- Support staff by taking detailed notes during meetings, setting calendar invites, and organizing project assets.
- Run production errands such as purchasing props and equipment and submitting vendor invoices and expense reports.
- Produce video projects by guiding teams through all stages of pre production, production, post production, and finishing; ensuring all team check ins and approvals are on schedule and in budget.
- Perform other duties as requested by staff to ensure all necessary tasks are performed in an efficient manner that adheres to the quality expected from the company.
Jobs Skills & Qualifications
Required:
Enrolled in accredited college or university with ability to receive credit
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
Proven problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Preferred:
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
Working knowledge of social media channels
