Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, we are seeking a Tax Analyst to be an integral part of the global tax team. This individual will work on both US and non-US income tax compliance, accounting and issue resolution supporting operations in 15 countries.
What You'll Do
- Primarily responsible for assisting in all aspects of the global group’s tax accounting, compliance, audits, and other processes.
- Assist in preparation and review of quarterly tax provisions to ensure current and deferred taxes are properly recorded and reported as required under ASC74. Support SOX compliance and financial statement reporting. Review and roll forward of global income tax accounts.
- Working with external service providers, assist in the preparation and review of corporate income and franchise tax filings in compliance with international, federal and state laws.
- Assist in preparation and review of transfer pricing analyses and documentation.
- Assist with management of federal, state, and international tax audits.
- Perform research and analysis on various tax issues such as acquisitions and new business initiatives.
- Assist in tax planning and forecasting.
- Work collaboratively with other finance functions on various projects.
What You'll Bring
- 3 years total public/private experience
- Bachelor’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance
- CPA or equivalent preferred
- Strong accounting skills
- Prior knowledge of and experience with ASC 740, Accounting for Income Tax, (or IFRS 12) required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail; highly organized; ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional leadership
- Unwavering professional ethics and integrity
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with online tax research tools
