What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at N2 - All Jobs?

Do you enjoy connecting with people and helping them find their next opportunity?  Does the thought of finding talent and collaborating with leaders excite you?  We’re seeking a skilled individual who is motivated by a challenge and eager to contribute to our Legal and Human Resource Department.  This role is for someone who is a skilled recruiter that wants to focus on recruitment but is also willing to happily jump in on general HR matters as needs arise. 

The N2 Company is a growing company based in Wilmington, North Carolina, though most of our team members are currently working from the comfort and safety of their homes and many will continue to have the opportunity to do so indefinitely. Our team designs, prints, and ships more than 800 monthly publications across the country. Our mission is to help small businesses win every day. 

Interviews for this opening will be conducted over the phone and via video calls. This role will be fully remote.

In a Typical Day, You Would:

  • Use our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Greenhouse to manage applicants and job postings. 
  • Assess and project company W-2 recruiting needs and advise leaders on strategy for timely and successful talent acquisition. 
  • Conduct and facilitate all first-round interviews utilizing our script and being the first impression of the company. 
  • Assist with background checks.
  • Create and administer compliant job postings, first-round interviews, offers and the onboarding process for W-2 hires.
  • Manage and maintain accurate data in our PayScale tool.
  • Assist with Onboarding new team members and facilitate a portion of the Orientation Meeting every two weeks.

To Land This Gig, You Need To:

  • Have previous experience in recruiting. 
  • Demonstrate outstanding communication skills.
  • Have an understanding of the legal compliance as it applies to the hiring process.
  • Have experience working in a general HR environment. 
  • Understand the importance of and maintain confidentiality. 
  • Have excellent organizational skills.
  • Be driven to improve and contribute as a team player.
