Under the general direction of the Director of Field Sales, the Regional Manager is responsible for leading the sales development process for existing and new accounts. Major duties include providing management, training and coaching of Account Executives, communications to the Sales department, monitoring & reporting on sales metrics, and managing the sales administration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Account Executives to include setting goals, monitoring activities, and providing reports and updates
- Coach team members to develop their selling skills and maintain adequate sales pipelines.
- Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure the program’s success.
- Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in the CRM system. Provide data quality checks weekly.
- Assist sales teams with opportunity and quotation reviews.
- Collaborate with other key stakeholders to facilitate relationships across the organization to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
- Create customer relationships, establish and maintain product market leadership and achieve long and short-term sales objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental leaders to ensure seamless customer journey experiences for internal and external stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business discipline or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience and prior management skills.
- Hands-on experience with CRM (Salesforce) software.
- In-depth understanding of the sales administration process.
- Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
- Ability to facilitate the resolution of client issues.
- Self-directed and able to take initiative, contributing new ideas to gain new business.
