What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Used Car Buyer position at NAPA Auto Parts?
As a part of our continued growth, LKQ is seeking a Car Buyer to join our team! You will be responsible for managing the inbound flow of products to support the company's sales objectives. Essential Duties:
- Prepare, edit, scan, and submit purchase orders to vendors in a timely fashion in accordance with company targets and goals.
- Monitor vendor back-orders and source products from alternate vendors as necessary.
- Work with branch locations to ensure company goals are met with respect to the company's receiving and put-away goals.
- Monitor key data elements and notify appropriate personnel if discrepancies/anomalies are observed.
- Initiate and support the continual improvement of LKQ's quality improvement system.
- Assumes other duties as assigned
