IT Systems Architect

NaphCare is hiring an experienced IT Systems Architect to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters on-site in Birmingham, AL 35216.

The IT Systems Architect will work within a team devoted to IT infrastructure and will have the opportunity for advancement within the growing department.

Position Details:

• 7 years of systems architecture experience is required for this senior level position; 10 years of relevant experience is ideal.
• Bachelor's Degree and previous IT consulting experience highly preferred.
• 5 years of experience in designing, building, and supporting AWS environments.
• Experience with configuring DNS and DHCP, VMware vSphere 6.x, server 2016 and/or 2019 operating systems.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and ability to communicate with all levels of cross-functional teams.
• Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise.
• Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Position Description:

• Provide top tier support related to the design, management, and maintenance of systems for our nationwide network of sites and users.
• Communicate with end-users in order to provide top tier support for system and network issues.
• Implementation and troubleshooting of systems, both physical and virtual, and networks.
• Management and troubleshooting of AWS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange.
