What are the responsibilities and job description for the Club Doorman position at Naples Bay Resort?
The Club Doorman will greet members as they arrive to the Club. Through professional knowledge, demeanor and an enthusiastic attitude the Doorman will establish an excellent level of service required to provide all Club members with an exceptional first impression of Naples Bay Club.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.*
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
* High school graduate or equivalent.
* Friendly personality & great communication skills.
* Experience in the service industry preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Ability to solve problems.
* Current drivers license and clean driving record.
* Ability to work while standing, walking, and running for extended periods.
* Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides a warm and sincere welcome /farewell for all members of our Club including use of member's name.
- Responsible for efficient, safe and friendly departure of Club member.
- Offer Valet Service to our members.
- Provide assistance in and out of vehicles of all members.
- Ensure that damage to any vehicle be documented upon arrival before parking the vehicle.
- Entertains questions from members and responds with appropriate and accurate information about the Club, local attractions, directions to events, etc.
