Lincoln Tech's Indianapolis, IN campus is looking for a full-time Internship Coordinator to promote and oversee the Medical Assistant internship program. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and engaging individual who plays a critical role in the overall success of the college.  A background in Medical Assisting is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the student's transition from class through externship or internship programs to graduation, in preparation for full-time placement
  • Assist the Director of Education with identifying externship sites
  • Coordinate the selection process for externship/internship placement 
  • Ensure that externship agreements are properly maintained and communicated
  • Maintain ongoing communication with students and externship or internship sites
  • Maintain program records; continually audit all records and validate information
  • Make external site visits during each externship or internship
  • Assist the Registrar with daily activities
