Lead CAD-CAM Technician
Job Posting for Lead CAD-CAM Technician at National Dentex
Our team is growing, and we are hiring at NDX Dental Art Lab in Lansing, Michigan for a Lead CAD/CAM Technician.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Monitor workflow to ensure tasks are completed on time per the dentist’s prescription/requests adhering to quality standards set forth by the company.
- Working with other department leaders to communicate challenges or issues in production.
- Training and development of team members to optimize workflow and to mitigate overtime.
- Monitor and assess new materials and integrate them into production when available.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
- Handle technical calls pertaining to the department.
- Assist clients with technical questions.
- Participate in team member review process.
- Participate in leadership training events
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Computer skills
- High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Verbally communicate with all levels of staff, leadership and customers maintaining a positive demeanor and nurturing teamwork.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have 12 months of experience or specified skills required for CAD/CAM Department
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
- Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
- Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
- Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
