General Summary
This position is responsible for driving a truck or van covering established route to deliver products to accounts.
Duties will include; but, are not limited to the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drives truck or van to deliver products safely and efficiently to assigned accounts daily.
- Safely unloads and delivers product into retail accounts.
- Collects payment from accounts and records transactions on customer receipt. Reconciles payments and prepares deposit to banking institution.
- Completes all assigned deliveries promptly in an organized and efficient manner.
- Rotates delivered products in a customer’s place of business to ensure product freshness.
- Collects empty containers, rejected and/or unsold merchandise from accounts.
- Performs daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections and completes report. Cleans inside of truck and keeps it organized.
- Listens to and resolves service complaints.
- Must pass random drug and alcohol testing.
- Mandatory Overtime (MOT) there may be instances that require working past regularly scheduled hours, there will be exceptions made for family/personal appointments.
- Complete daily work assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Support a positive and productive work environment by being respectful, civil and helpful.
- Meet Attendance Policy expectations
- Wear appropriate and approved clothing/uniform
- Attend staff and other mandatory meetings/trainings, as required/per policy.
- Understands and observes all safety rules and practices to prevent injuries and/or damage.

Skills/Experience/Training/Certification Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior driving and/or delivery experience preferred.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License
- Acceptable driving performance over the last twelve months
- Demonstrated communication skills to effectively interact with managers, sales staff and customers.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to speak, read and write English at high school level
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Working knowledge of computer applications.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

- Employee is occasionally exposed to product cooler environments of noise, dust, etc.
- Work requires exposure to daily temperatures to usual beer cooler temperatures of 38 degrees
