National Fuel has a need for an IT Inventory and Procurement Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in our Information Technology department and involves managing and procurement of various technology products, services, and software for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory control best practices, purchasing procedures, and vendor management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain Inventory of IT hardware and software assets.
- Manage quarterly IT audits and drive operational standards across multiple locations.
- Collaborate with business units to coordinate hardware refreshes and upgrade projects.
- Develop and update documentation and SOPs for asset lifecycle maintenance and procurement.
- Work with NFG Purchasing and Leadership to improve Asset Procurement processes.
- Evaluate and review products and services with different Vendors for asset management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High level of initiative, professionalism, and leadership with strong interpersonal/communications skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with moderate-to-strong technical competencies.
- Ability to learn a variety of new technologies.
- Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment. Effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Well organized and self-motivated with strong customer service, and analytical skills.
- 1-2 years of experience in asset management, procurement, or inventory control function.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- ServiceNow experience, including workflows, self-service, CMDB, HAM, and Asset Management
- Experience developing inventory reports.
- Experience working with procurement modules.
- Knowledge of hardware and software lifecycle management.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in asset management, procurement, or inventory control function.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with moderate-to-strong technical competencies.
- Experience comparing products and services and negotiating with Vendors for best price/services.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 – $95,000.
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
