Quality Assurance Automation Analyst

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer and maintain an automated UI testing solution
• Develop, implement, and execute automated UI tests
• Train and Coach Developers/QA Analysts on proper automated UI testing
• Work with various development teams as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Strong experience with functional UI automated testing using SmartBear TestComplete
• Knowledgeable at a software developer level, or equivalent experience in the software testing field working as a Software Engineer in Test/Automation Engineer
• Strong experience with automation of native mobile and mobile web applications
• Strong defect reporting skills: able to write clear, concise, descriptive bug reports and verify bug fixes
• Experience in environments utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong technical competencies
• High level of initiative, professionalism, and leadership with strong interpersonal/communications skills

Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines; to effectively prioritize and execute tasks

• Well organized and self-motivated with strong customer service, project, and analytical skills
• This position is hybrid and will have an on-site requirement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years prior hands-on experience in automated quality assurance/testing (Web, Desktop, and Mobile)
• Experience with multiple automated testing tools and frameworks
• Experience testing/querying SQL databases
• SAP and/or PeopleSoft testing experience, including custom PeopleTools applications
• Strong understanding of coding standards and best practices

Experience in the Energy Sector and/or Natural Gas Distribution/Supply

• Certifications or professional training in QA/Testing/Test Automation principles
