Description
National Grid is seeking an HR Analyst to join their team on a contract-basis for the period of 1 year, with potential for extension or conversion to perm role. The work format will initially be remote but will transition to a hybrid model; candidates may be local to either Syracuse, NY (300 Erie Boulevard West, Syracuse, NY 13202) or Waltham, MA (40 Sylvan Road, Waltham, MA 02451).
Job Purpose
To assist (organization and position management) and HR Administration (personnel action processing, validation, and assistance). This position is required due to an increase in volume of requests, increase in processing time (e.g. dual maintenance, replication, workflow), new work, and current/pending projects. Contractors will serve as a technical and functional point-of-contact for our area and will council stakeholders on activities related to organization management changes and key master data dependencies. He/she will assist subject matter experts on solution design, ensure data integrity, administer changes, test system changes, analyze data flows and recommend process improvement opportunities.
High level skills required are as follows:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Primarily Excel) .
- Ability to work in a highly analytical manner with a solid attention to detail and ability to manage activities autonomously from beginning to end.
- Candidate must maintain a customer focused mindset and take personal accountability for correcting problems promptly.
