Statement of Purpose
Provided support services for organizational Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The Business Analyst, ERP Support will provide daily support to ERP system users and consult with members of the business community at all levels to identify current operation procedures, clarify program objectives, interpret, and evaluate business requirements and provide effective, efficient, and innovative system and programming solutions in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Collaborate with business users, affiliated organizations and vendors on technical EDI issues and initiatives.

Education
B.S. degree in a related field from an accredited university or college preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.
Training and Specialized Knowledge
- Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) supply chain management
- E-commerce and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) principles and practices
- Oracle Business Intelligence (BI)
- SQL Developer or Plus
- Familiarity with Oracle table structures and relationships
- Skilled user of Microsoft products (e.g., MS Office & Visio)
- Business process and system analysis

Experience
- 3 years with ERP systems maintenance and operations
- 3 years with SQL Developer or Plus
- 3 years customer service related to supply chain systems.
- 3 years quality assurance and quality testing of ERP system data
- 3 years working with supply chain transactions (e.g., Contracts, SO, PO)
- 3 years working with Oracle EBS operational/supply chain management functionality.
- 3 years working with Oracle in manufacturing, distribution or government contracting environment.
- 3 years of experience in report design and development
- 3 years of experience in data analysis and management
- 3 years of experience in detailed business process and system analysis

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide Oracle EBS system support services; back-office tasks and ad-hoc end-user issues.
- Maintain an in-depth familiarity with current Oracle tasks and processes spanning across end-users in various departments.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the ERP IT team’s other functions and processes.
- Develop, design, and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization.
- Perform daily system proactive monitoring for problems and anomalies affecting Oracle and lead correction action on issues as they arise.
- Serve as a point of contact for system support issues for operations management functionality.
- Coordinate activities with service providers and IT staff.
- Maintain and run concurrent programs, both scheduled and unscheduled, that process records in Oracle. Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Troubleshoot functional system issues, working closely with Oracle technical support, service providers, end users and in-house technical staff to coordinate problem resolution.
- Develop basic-to-intermediate level queries and reports.
- Perform quality control and quality assurance monitoring of system data through the development and execution of database queries or similar tools.
- Support end-users in processing, exporting, and importing data. Perform data loads, where/when necessary.
- Create and maintain documentation on systems requirements, system functional design, business processes, procedures, and systems configurations.
Provide business and system analysis on functional support issues. - Maintain general system functional administration best practices.
- Provide support for ERP training programs including training content development.
- Provide functional implementation and upgrade support services.
- Participate in system implementation and upgrades activities.
- Perform systems analysis including business process, feasibility, requirement identification and cost-benefit.
- Assist with system functional and integration testing including plan development, routine creation, regression, and user acceptance.
- Participate in RFP/RFI development and proposal review activities.
