Qualifications:
To qualify for the GS-12 level: You must demonstrate in your resume at least (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: Managing a maintenance program for office or other special-purpose installations; conducting surveillance activities over construction and maintenance operations; performing maintenance or construction work, including estimating material and labor costs for a variety of construction or maintenance projects; reviewing project plans and specifications for workability; informing contractors of construction and reporting requirements; and overseeing operations for conformance with project plans.Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position, and is typically in or related to the work of this position.
