Life and Annuity Claims Examiner II

How you will add value:

• Review and understand the policy owner’s claim.
• Review and understand the general terms of policy owner’s contract and riders.
• Communicate with the customer both verbally and written to help determine their specific need, answer question’s they may have, set appropriate expectations or simply be there to lend an ear during their most difficult time.
• Enter accurate claim information into the system to assure correct payment to the customer or beneficiary(ies)
• Ensure the company remains in compliance and keeps our promises to the customer’s by staying up to date on company, state and federal regulation changes within the Insurance Industry.
• Adjudicate claims in an accurate and timely manner.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, however will consider commensurate work experience.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check that may include fingerprinting.

• Medical Industry experience or biology / physiology degree.
• Legal experience, contract law experience.
