Training and Education Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: The Training and Education Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development of our Training and Education Department initiatives and hosting creative training events and educational programs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in developing and managing training programs and content to ensure continued relevancy within the organization
• Monitor completion of training assignments (orientation, compliance, re-trainings)
• Monitor accountability of on-the-job training execution (30, 60, 90 day goals)
• Assign and compile survey feedback
• Assist with new acquisition onboarding process
• Coordinate check-in meetings with new hires
• Partner with department head or subject matter expert regarding instructional design
• Partner with I.T. to assist remote new hires with connecting to our server
• Perform administrative needs for new hire onboarding
• Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
• Research and recommend new training methods

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training or corporate events in a business setting
• Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
• Experience with e-learning platforms
• MS Office Proficiency
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication skills; verbal and written
• Ability to work with a high degree of independence; must be proactive
• Proven relationship skills; must be able to work effectively with subject matter experts and department leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Training, HR, Marketing or related field

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Office setting- this is an onsite position
• Participates in departmental, training and staff meetings
• Adhere to all compliance and company policies and procedures
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality policies (both medical and financial – HIPAA)
• Ability to perform other job duties upon request
