About the role:
The Sales Manager will make plans, direct, and coordinate the activities and operations of the sales staff to achieve the company’s financial goals and implement the sales/distribution side of the company’s strategic marketing plan. Leads growth and meets our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team's potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; and analyzing trends and results.
- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
- Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; and following up on work results.
- Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains national sales staff work results by counseling and disciplining employees, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree or Equivalent would be ideal. Years of experience can substitute educational requirements.
- It is required that the candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the B2B sales field, preferably in the technology/telecommunications industry or a similar role.
- Two-way radio communications & Equipment experience is preferred.
- Must have expertise in executing successful sales campaigns and projects, as well as a thorough understanding of the US market's sales channels and the specifics of activity deployment in the B2B industry.

- Creating and implementing a sales plan with proven experience in identifying target audiences and creatively devising and leading sales campaigns across channels that engage, educate, and motivate.
- Willingness to understand and eagerness to learn engineering and technically complicated products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meeting sales goals by monitoring progress. Developing budgets.
- Analyzing sales data and strong presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
