Assistant Instructor
Duties:
- Assist the lead instructor in delivering educational content and facilitating classroom activities
- Provide support and guidance to students during laboratory sessions and clinical trials
- Collaborate with the lead instructor to develop lesson plans and instructional materials
- Conduct educational presentations and lectures to enhance students' understanding of the subject matter
- Assist in grading assignments, exams, and other assessments
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
- Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all students
Must be Professional, there is a strict instructor to student protocol, and we ask that you maintain the line of Instructor when dealing with students, during and after graduation.
Requirements:
-Min. 1 year current clinical experience
-Must have a RDA number included in resume
-Must have current CPR card
- Experience working in a classroom or laboratory setting
- Knowledge of educational platforms such as Blackboard or similar learning management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and engage students
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Familiarity with all aspects of restorative dentistry as set by the Department of Health/OSHA/ CDC
- Ability to work collaboratively with the lead instructor

This position is set to be for Saturdays ONLY. Our Lead Instructor is understanding of scheduling however Saturdays are a required day to be in attendance and our hours are 8-4pm. We expect you to be there at 7:45 to prepare for lecture and make sure you know the hands on skill being taught for that day. Its an awesome environment where you can expand on your skills and help others, what's not to like!
