National Shunt Service Ltd. (NSSL) is a family owned and operated transportation company, operating across the US & Canada. We specialize in total yard management logistics (shunting).
We're seeking an innovative, forward-thinking Sales and Marketing Analyst to join the front lines of our NSSL Sales & Marketing team! In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying key data insights & reporting trends, analyzing data through the lens of content creation, collaborating on development of creative campaigns, and effectively driving business initiatives forward.

Job Responsibilities
- Design and automate data-focused campaign strategies to maximize efficiency across Sales, Marketing & Operations.
- Work alongside US & Canadian Sales to identify and target potential customer leads.
- Conduct market research to identify key audience segments & potential customers.
- Manage third-party data & audience segmentation tools, extracting actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain marketing & sales KPI dashboards to track performance.
- View data findings & trend analysis through the lens of targeted content creation & marketing strategies.
- Build campaigns through keyword research, SEO, audience testing, and ad copy.
- Maximize ROI in the following channels: Direct Mail, Email, Social Media, Omni-Channel Campaigns, Website and more.
- Execute paid ad campaigns across platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, Bing & Google.
- Generate & own insightful reports and presentations to company leaders & decision makers.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in reporting or data analytics.
- 2 years of experience in Sales & Marketing Operations.
- Proficiency in Excel and other third-party business intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, LinkedIn & Meta
- Experience with digital marketing & paid social media advertising.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance metrics.
- Proven project management abilities, with a focus on time management.
- Self-motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid grasp of statistical concepts, large data sets, and trend analysis.
- Previous experience in B2B or B2C environments considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
