Details Of The Sonographer Opening
- Anticipated start date: 08/04/2024
- Salary: $1855.51 - $2142.89 weekly
- Anticipated duration of assignment: 13 weeks
- Anticipated schedule: 4x10 Nights

- Explain sonographic procedures to patients, answer questions, prepare patients by applying the gel to the skin, and position the patients on the table.
- Ensure clear images for diagnostic purposes and adjust the sonographic equipment when necessary.
- Select appropriate settings and adjust patients' positions accordingly.
- Monitor patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedures.
- Present the sonograms and preliminary findings to the Physicians.
- Complete all appropriate documentation and maintain patients' medical records.
- Assist Physicians during invasive procedures.
- Maintain and clean the sonographic equipment.
- Perform medical procedures, such as administer oxygen, take vital signs, and give emergency treatments.
- Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor's degree program in Sonography.
- ARRT certification.
- Two or more years of current experience as a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
