National Vision is currently looking for a OD Contract Administrator to join our growing team!
Job Summary
The role serves as the point of contact and liaison between our Doctor of Optometry (OD) network and recruiters. This position issues OD contracts and agreements, assists in credentialing and continually seeks efficiencies for the department.
What Would You Do? The Specifics.
- Issues OD Contracts and agreements and assists with Doctor credentialing.
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve effectiveness, produce quality work, anticipate needs of Professional Services Department and suggest ideas to improve workflow.
- Provides administrative support for all new OD employment contracts and database management, OD malpractice insurance, existing OD contract changes, and credentialing follow-up.
- Sets the tone for the office: establishes and maintains professional relations with staff, customers, visitors and internal guests.
- Assists and provides information to ODs regarding the OD hiring process, insurance needs, and credentialing as well as making sure payments to independently contracted ODs are seamless.
- Works with all required teams to ensure a smooth timely process for the ODs to start practicing.
- Handles confidential matters as assigned.
- Assists with special projects requiring analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Assists in OD & practice set up functions in web based programs.
Work Experience
- 0-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college Required

Salary : $43,500 - $55,100
