What Does a Stocker/Loader Do?

• Maintain a consistent, pleasant, customer service-oriented image to customers
• Providing accurate and dependable stock work, properly counting, stocking, facing, cleaning, and organizing the store
• Maintain sufficient stock levels and good quality products
• Maintain the appearance of the sales floor and stock areas
• Create merchandise displays to improve sales and ease of shopping
• Complete training including, but not limited to product knowledge, location knowledge, and computer knowledge
• Help keep the store clean
• Place orders for special orders or non-stock merchandise; maintenance and follow-up of these records and timely notifications of store personnel and customers
• Stock, face, back stock, and re-order for their department
• Other tasks as assigned by store management or company official

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction or building material experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to climb up and down ladders, reach, bend, twist, kneel, lift up to 100 lbs., handle large odd shaped items, and stock items in overhead areas
• Able to accurately count and distinguish between merchandise within the store.
• Results-oriented with ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation’s Best’s values.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
• Strong interpersonal skills with willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills
