The Branch Manager will be responsible for all efficient daily operations of the branch including lending, product sales, customer service, employee supervision, and ensuring that safety and compliance are in line with the company’s standards. The Branch Manager will also facilitate new loan business by providing a superior level of staff training through guidance and leadership. Essential Functions: Maintain communication between the branch and the corporate managers by creating daily, weekly and monthly reports on the branches operational activities. Ensure that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by state and federal regulatory agencies. Train staff to achieve branch goals. Meet target office metrics including: number of transactions, sales volume, loan volume, etc. Recruit new employees; Assist in hiring process and onboarding of new employees. Monitor quality of service provided by employees to maximize their opportunities to sell products and maintain quality production standards. Deliver clear and consistent feedback to all branch employees. Manage branch employee daily performance and provide frequent feedback. Advise and educate consumers about the home purchase or refinance process, and how to better manage their mortgages by discussing loan terms, rates, fees, and other costs. Gather consumer information and apply skill and experience to put clients in the best financial status possible. Take and receive applications for credit. Initiate the loan process and manage application from file start to closing using various systems. Assist and communicate with consumers throughout the loan process. Confer and meet with customers during various stages of the loan process as needed. Utilize materials, reference tools, and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to customers and business partners. Provide complete loan applications and support materials to fulfillment center partners. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ mortgage originating experience with demonstrated success. High School diploma or GED. Demonstrated personal financial stability. Valid N.M.L.S. Originator Certificate of origination. All applicable state certification tests must be completed with a passing exemption, including the Safe Mortgage Loan Origination test. Proficient with computer systems and software, including email, spreadsheets, databases Loan Origination Systems, and other relevant programs Solid understanding of efficient loan operation system. Preferred Skills: 5 years in a sales environment. Fundamental understanding of the mortgage and finance process. Great communication skills and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
